of the final return of life, the causes of birth, old age, illness,
death, ups and downs in our life, and the causes and effects of
our life are all in The Holographic Causality of the Law of Nature.

and changing principles and mechanism of birth and death, environment,
illness, fate and spells of good or bad fortune in our life. The
most important and difficult problem for the one who is determined
to practice perfection and prove the holy Tao is to eliminate the
causes and the sins in the original causes completely. Only without
sins can we attain the high level of the Golden-Dan Tao, and only
without worries can all our past lives be perfected, which will
help us realize return. Therefore, it's the compulsory course for
each practicer of Xuan Ling Qigong to research and probe into The
Holographic Causality of the Law of Nature.
¡¡¡¡ Section One¡ªThe Concept of The
Holographic Causality of the Law of Nature
¡¡¡¡ According to the theory
of the genetics and the microscopic biology, The Holographic Causality
of the Law of Nature is a kind of holographic, microscopic, and
invisible original factor that can be inherited and carried in a
holographic way. It's included in the original causes in the three-cause
theory containing the original causes, the internal causes and the
external causes when being researched and probed.
¡¡¡¡ The modern science can't go into the original-cause system to
see the whole picture of the original causes of human body and life
temporarily. And this law was discovered as a kind of natural holographic
(information) inheritable carryable phenomenon and was tested and
verified to be with the universality by the Buddhist and Taoist
practicers when they made the universal study, the macroscopic study,
the microscopic study, the internal study and the mysterious study
after entering the multiple and high-dimension space in their long-term
cultivation and practice. It can't be accepted or understood by
people widely for the time being like many supernatural observations
and discoveries of the ancient sages. Because the modern science
can't go into "the qi field " (The terminology of Qigong, the field
made up of qi of various nature, which can't be seen but can be
felt and decides the development and the finality of things thoroughly)
and the information realm of the invisible world, The Holographic
Causality of the Law of Nature can't be proved or analyzed by the
existing visible scientific methods. At present, we can only test
and verify it by the wise study in the high-dimension space after
we've achieved certain level through cultivating virtues and practicing,
and the ordinary practicers should respect the discoveries of the
precursors first, admit the objective existence of this law, and
pay attention to exploring and researching this realm in the practice
of their own, and then, find and master The Holographic Causality
of the Law of Nature of themselves.
¡¡¡¡ The Holographic Causality of the Law of Nature is usually called
the holographic causes and effects, or the Karma by tradition, or
the holographic Karma. The theory of the holographic causality is
the basic doctrine of the life science of Buddhism and Taoism, and
a kind of natural and basic law to expound all the causes and effects
of the biological phenomena and the law of forming the life. It's
also called "the holographic causality"
¡¡¡¡ "Causes" mean the reasons that make the law of life and the phenomena
of life produce. The information of the causes is mainly stored
and carried by the original causes of forming our life, and the
causes created today can also enter into the internal causes and
the original causes to be stored and carried in a holographic way.
"Effects" means the results, or the retributions. They're the discharging,
emerging and transforming result of the holographic genes stored
and carried in the original causes after being affected by the internal
causes and the external causes jointly and intensively. The holographic
cause and effect is a pair of Yin and Yang, as well as a pair of
contradictions. Cause and effect can produce, promote and circulate
each other. They can exchange or change into each other, the cause
can produce the effect, and meanwhile, the effect can produce the
cause. The Holographic Causality of the Law of Nature is a kind
of law of nature, which exists widely in nature, life and the laws
of birth, growth, decline and death of all things.
¡¡¡¡ According to their nature, the "causes" can be classified as
the good causes and the evil causes, so do the effects. Good and
evil is a pair of Yin and Yang, and they can produce and change
into each other. Good and evil exists widely in the realm of the
biological phenomena. In the realm of the usual Tao, this pair of
contradictions¡ªgood and evil coexists in the daily life, and the
good and evil causes determine and influence the birth, existence,
development and end of life.
¡¡¡¡ Another theory of life of Buddhism and Taoism is "theory of retributions
of deeds". Theory of retributions of deeds takes The Holographic
Causality of the Law of Nature as the basis to research and probe
into the biological phenomena. The deeds here mean all the activities
of life, which can be classified as the three deeds including "the
body deeds, the mouth deeds and the mind deeds" by tradition. The
three deeds are classified as the good deeds and the bad deeds according
to their nature. The retributions here mean the effects, the real
effects, or the retributions of deeds, and they're the inevitable
outcome produced by the good or bad of the three deeds. Therefore,
we can also say that the causes are the deeds, and the effects are
the retributions.
¡¡¡¡ Theory of life of Buddhism and Taoism thinks that life is the
successive changes from deeds to retributions and from retributions
to deeds. In the realm of the system of human body and life, both
Buddhism and Taoism think that life is composed of two main systems,
namely the body system and the natural-body system. The body system
is equal to the hardware system of the computer, and the natural-body
system, the software system of the computer. "The eternal master"
of life, namely the original nature that is called as the eighth
consciousness, or the "alaya " by the Buddhism, is considered the
subject or the true master of deeds and retributions, and the main
carrier of both the good and the evil causes. The original nature
not only brings all the good or bad deeds of a person done in history
(during the past lives) into the reality but also stores and carries
all his good or bad information created during this life to another
space-time, which is a kind of holographic "heredity" of the information
of matter. The original nature called as the "alaya" by the Buddhism,
can be paraphrased in "the stored consciousness", store means to
store and carry various kinds of information, and to embrace all
the causes of deeds of our life in a holographic way. The causes
of deeds change into the retributions of effects, then, the retributions
of effects change into the causes of deeds again, and they move
in an endless circle so, and the causes of deeds carried by the
original nature in a holographic way will determine the ups and
downs, and the existence and disappearance of the original nature
(or the true master) in the space-time.
¡¡¡¡ Theory of retributions of deeds contained in theory of life thinks
that the bitterness and happiness of our life, and the prosperity
and decline of the society are all determined by the three deeds.
Therefore, the Buddha said; "As a man does, so shall he receive
the retributions; as a collective does, so shall the collective
receive the retributions". The Buddhist Sutra says that " All you've
done won't disappear while all you haven't done won't appear", which
means that each thing we've done, each word, each behavior, or even
each idea is seeding its own cause of deed, and the corresponding
appropriate effect will be put into practice in the near or far
future according to the nature and degree of good and evil, and
tasted by the compound body made up of Xing and Ming. Any "cause"
can't disappear by itself before producing the effect. The same,
if you haven't seeded any cause, you won't receive any retribution.
In the Yin and Yang of the holographic cause and effect, the cause
must produce the effect, the effect must have the cause, the cause
can't vanish without any reason, and the effect can't be brought
about without any cause. This is a kind of ironclad law of nature
can't be defied or denied by anyone. The law of this world is like
this, and the law of the world of the celestial beings and Buddha
is also like this. Master Yin Guang said: "Neither the Buddha nor
the sentiment beings can shake off the restriction of the causality".
Thus, we can see the holographic causality is the basic law of the
universe and nature, and all sentiment beings are equal before it.
The retribution follows the good or evil is like the shadow following
the person. The information of causes and effects moves in a circle
in a holographic way and can't disappear by itself. Only after you've
realized the causes, restrained the Yin with the Yang and subdued
the evil causes with the good causes, can you prevent the evil effects
from producing and emerging.
¡¡¡¡ The holographic causality exists in the universe and the space-time
objectively, which mean it exists whether we admit it or not (It
exists whether we believe it or not), and it won't disappear whether
we deny it or not (It can't disappear whether we believe it or not).
All of us will be restricted by it in spite of admitting it or not.
According to its nature, the existence of the holographic causality
can't be restricted by time, and it won't vanish after circulating
for only three lives. "The deeds done by you won't disappear even
after thousands of kalpas, and you'll have to receive the retributions
when the effects are ripe", says in the sutra. Thus we can see the
causes of deeds will be fixedly "inherited" and "carried" in a holographic
way since thousands of kalpas is a very vast space-time. If the
causes of deeds don't meet the corresponding deeds of causes to
be neutralized and dissolved, they won't change their specific characteristic
to disappear by themselves. Once the time of being discharged become
ripe and the internal and the external conditions are satisfied,
they'll be discharged from the original causes to appear in the
present space-time, and then, change into the matter to disappear
since your own retributions of effects have to be experienced by
yourselves. Your present situation is decided by what you acted
and did in the past, and your future is decided by what you act
and do at present. This knowledge is not a kind of deduction or
conjecture because it has been found by the Buddhist and Taoist
practicers in the microscopic study and the mysterious study in
the high-dimension space according to the objective existence of

¡¡¡¡ When viewing the life macroscopically from the high-dimension
space, everything around us such as our birthday and birthplace,
glory and humiliation, ups and downs, happiness and salary, being
short-lived or long-lived, spells of good or bad fortune and chances,
and death, etc. is not the casualness but the necessity produced
by our own causes of deeds, which is regulated and controlled by
the law of nature. The past of our Xing and Ming determines our
present retributions, the same, the present of our Xing and Ming
determines our future retributions. All things in our lives are
caused by ourselves, and experienced by ourselves; the former causes
produce the later effects, we'll have to receive the effects produced
by the causes we've seeded, and we will receive nothing if we don't
seed, the causes and effects move in an endless circle and each
cause will be tallied in every detail with the effect.
¡¡¡¡ Section Two¡ªthe Producing and
Change of the Holographic Causality
¡¡¡¡ Many people can't understand the holographic causality correctly
and even deny it to be the objective reality, for they think all
in our life are only a kind of casualness, and there are not causes
and effects in them, once we've died, our life will be like the
body being rotten and vanished, and the original consciousness will
disappear completely. The researchers of the life science should
know that the casualness and the necessity is a pair of Yin and
Yang, the casualness is relative and only the necessity is absolute,
and not to admit the holographic causality is equal to deny the
natural dialectics of the unity of opposites. The law of conservation
of matter won't be different to different objects, or disappear
because Yin is different from Yang and the visible is different
from the invisible. There are only transforms and changes between
the high quality and the low quality, furthermore, this kind of
transforms and changes are holographic, and only through the microscopic
study, the wise study and the macroscopic study can we find the
law and the specific characteristic of them.
¡¡¡¡ Seeing that some good persons in our life suffer from the evil
retributions while the evil are rewarded by the good retributions,
many people deny the existence of the holographic causality and
don't admit the law of nature that "Maybe the good person will be
bullied by others for his good but the heaven will never bully him;
and maybe the evil person will terrify others for his evil but the
heaven will never be terrified by him ". This is a kind of wrong
understanding caused by the limitation of the internal study and
the external study. The Buddhist and Taoist precursors didn't expound
their ideas in writing in order to deliver the sermon but set forth
their views on the basis of making the macroscopic study of all
things with their great wisdom.
¡¡¡¡ For example, for the phenomenon that the good person suffers
from the evil retributions, the common people can only see the superficial
phenomenon but can't trace back to the deep causes or the past lives
of the good person, or know the evil causes of the long history
stored in the holographic original-cause codes are being discharged
to produce the retributions of deeds because the internal condition
fits the external condition. We can't be sure that the person who
is good in this life has been good during his past lives or never
did the evil. On the contrary, maybe he once did many evil deeds,
which caused his natural body suffered untold tribulations under
some special circumstances in some special space-time after leaving
a certain carrier. Because the painful lesson has branded him as
if being engraved in his bones and imprinted on his heart, he realized
the harm of the evil deeds and recorded this knowledge in a holographic
way. The original nature has not been worn down with the changes
of the space-time, and this kind of pains caused by the painful
lesson continue slowly after it entered into a new carrier of life,
which influences and controls his subjective consciousness, so he
can regard the good as the first principle and dares not to do the
serious evil. He doesn't do any evil but only does the good deeds
prudently, however, the quantity of the past evil deeds is very
big, and the evil causes carried can't be neutralized by the small
good deeds in a short time, thus, his past evil deeds can't be counterbalanced
completely or eliminated because he does the good now, the retributions
of the past evil deeds that haven't been neutralized will still
emerge, so the phenomenon that the good person suffers from the
evil retributions appears. The genes of the evil or good retributions
often stand in order in his life of tens of years according to some
laws, and some of them gather while others scatter. Some people
can dissolve the evil causes with the new "present causes" accumulated
by doing the good deeds after realizing that "Correction makes change"
and the few who can seize opportunity by the forelock to accumulate
the outstanding merits and virtues can neutralize and dissolve all
the evil causes, thus free from the evil retributions.
¡¡¡¡ The same, why the evil person is rewarded by the good retributions?
We can be sure that the evil person was once a "good person" in
the past and seeded many good causes of deeds. However, when his
natural body left that carrier and carried a great quantity of good
genes to other space-time, he didn't suffer untold tribulations
to be remembered constantly and forever under the special environment
of the space-time because of the basis of the good genes, on the
contrary, he lived a quiet life. Thus made his original nature has
a relatively dim memory of the serious consequences of the causality.
Therefore, comparatively speaking, the influence of his subconscious
on his subjective consciousness in this respect is relatively faint,
which makes his life will be lack of the control of the latent directive
power. Furthermore, he has been polluted by the acquired environment,
and his subjective consciousness hasn't been moralized, so this
kind of person will be easy to "take the color of his bad company",
going with the crowd; what's more, he is influenced by the acquired
six desires, so he'll commit numerous crimes. On the other hand,
because his retributions of good deeds are rich and have not been
exhausted yet, he lives in easy and comfort. Thus, the stranger
phenomenon that "The evil person lives in easy and comfort, which
is contrary to our expectations" appears, which leads the common
people hardly accept the holographic causality. However, the law
of nature can't be changed, all the evil causes of the deeds will
be stored to seep in the holographic system to be carried, and they
will be discharged when the retributions of the good deeds have
been exhausted in this life or in another life of the reincarnations.
¡¡¡¡ According to the different time of being discharged, the forms
of expression of the holographic causality are classified as the
temporal retributions, the life retributions and the later retributions
by the precursors. The first sort is called "the temporal retributions",
which means all the good causes of deeds done now will be changed
into the good fortune and good retributions in a short period or
in the near future, and all the evil causes of deeds done now will
be changed into the bad fortune and evil retributions in a short
period or in the near future.
¡¡¡¡ When analyzing the mechanism of "the temporal retributions",
we can find the appearance of "the temporal retributions" is decided
by the holographic storing quantity of the good and evil causes
seeded in history. If the one without evident evil causes or only
with quite many good causes in history can accumulate merits in
spite of doing any evil deeds, he can often get the good fortune
of "the temporal retributions". If the one with very few evil causes
in history can readily do good deeds, he can also get the good fortune
of "the temporal retributions" which will appear in time when the
good deeds done now have neutralized the evil causes in history.
¡¡¡¡ On the contrary, if the one without many stores of good causes
in history doesn't fear the causality, doing evil continuously,
he will be very easy to suffer from the bad fortune of "the temporal
retributions" once the few stores of good causes are exhausted and
he hasn't the new complement of good causes to neutralize the evil
genes done now. Once the one whose good causes in history have been
exhausted for a long period of time, being born only with the evil
causes does the evil deeds, seeding the evil causes, the bad fortune
of "the temporal retributions" will appear very quickly and heavily.
¡¡¡¡ The second sort is called "the life retributions", which means
the causes of both the good and the evil deeds done during this
life will be changed into "the original causes" in a holographic
way to be stored in the original nature, and they'll be discharged
in a holographic way to produce the retributions of effects at the
next time when the original nature is combined with the body.
¡¡¡¡ When analyzing the mechanism of "the life retributions", we can
find the appearance of this kind of retributions is decided by the
storing quantity of the good and the evil causes seeded during both
history and this life. If the one with quite many stores of the
good causes does the evils and seeds the evil causes during this
life, when his stores of the good causes are discharged continuously
to neutralize and dissolve the evil causes of deeds seeded newly
and this kind of state can last before his death, the rest part
of the evil causes which have not been neutralized yet will be recorded
by the original nature in a holographic way to bring to other space-time
to go to the next life when the original nature enters the body,
to be suffered or accumulated again.
¡¡¡¡ The same, if the one with part evil causes in history can do
the good deeds extensively instead of doing any evil deed, his evil
causes will be neutralized and dissolved completely and he will
have some surplus stores of good causes when his Xing and Ming parts.
And the surplus stores of good causes will be recorded and carried
by the original nature in a holographic way to the next life to
be discharged, being enjoyed, or accumulating again because of valuing
the good fortune.
¡¡¡¡ The third sort is "the later retributions", which means the causes
of both the good and the evil deeds done during this life will not
be discharged in the way of retribution but still be in a state
of being stored and carried in the next life when the original nature
is combined with the body, furthermore, they'll be carried by the
original nature to the third, or the fourth life or even the more
distant future when the Xing combines with the Ming to be discharged
in the way of retribution under some special circumstances.
¡¡¡¡ When analyzing the mechanism of the later retributions, we can
find: on the one hand, the appearance of this kind of retributions
is decided by the storing quantity of the good and the evil causes
seeded during both history and this life; on the other hand, it's
decided by the holographic particularity of the good and the evil
causes, some good or evil causes can only be discharged under the
corresponding circumstances. When they don't meet the corresponding
environment fitting both the internal causes and the external causes,
they'll be in the dormant state and not be discharged to produce
the effects. Only when the environments of both the internal causes
and the external causes satisfy their own particularity, can they
be activated to discharge the effects.
¡¡¡¡ However, the matter is conservational, the matter of field is
also conservational, and the contradictions should be neutralized,
eliminated and changed by the corresponding causes, so the causes
done by us no matter they're good or evil or done just now or long
before will be discharged and experienced by ourselves when the
time is ripe. Hence, some people say: "All the good and evil causes
will produce the effects finally, and the only difference lies in
the time that the retributions appear"
¡¡¡¡ Many people who merely research the physiognomy and the fate
science with the attitude of pragmatism instead of making a systematic
study on the original causes, the internal causes and the external
causes can hardly achieve the high level of this realm. In fact,
the fate and the appearance are only the holographic show of the
causes and effects. Theory of the life science of Buddhism and Taoism
thinks that the existing physical body that combines Xing and Ming
into one is called "the body of retributions", and directly confirms
that the body is only a carrier made up of the causes accumulated
to discharge the retributions of effects, and a carrier of life
used to bear the retributions of effects by the causality of nature.
¡¡¡¡ The inherent shows of the life of the "the body of retributions"
such as the life-span, the appearance, and the fate, etc. are called
"the real retributions", which means that each of us is the real
carrier of the causality of nature to discharge the retributions,
and "the real master" of the retributions of effects.
¡¡¡¡ However, the con-sanguine family and the conjugal family, the
quality of the relatives and the children, and the living environment
and working environment, etc. of "the main carrier" are called "the
attached retributions". The attached retributions are decided by
the original causes of the original nature of the real retributions,
and the real retributions are in direct proportion to the attached
retributions. If the original causes of the real retributions contain
many good fortunes, then, the outside environment of the real retributions,
namely the attached retributions will be fine naturally; on the
contrary, if the evil causes contained in the original causes of
the real retributions are more than the good causes, the attached
retributions will be bad and poor. All these are the inevitable
effects produced by the causes seeded by you in the past space-time,
and you'll have to taste them since you seeded them yourself. It
can't appear without reason but is only a kind of "effects of your
own deeds" controlled by the causality in a macroscopic way, so
we haven't any reason to complain the heaven, or our parents when
suffering the evil retributions of the evil deeds.
¡¡¡¡ The Buddhist and Taoist precursors have revealed the origin of
the "physiognomy" and "the fate science", at the same time, summed
up a great deal of practical experiences that can judge both our
past and our future. However, the true Buddhist and Taoist practicers
are not encouraged to draw lots, practice the divination, or to
visit physiognomist resolutely because all these methods can only
make us know and accept some part of our fate and know and accept
the causality of nature passively. Only "knowing the fate" and "accepting
the fate" are the negative fatalism, which can't have any positive
influence on the social progress, the ego development and the prosperity
of the nationality. From everlasting, both the Buddhist and the
Taoist sages have never advocated the fatalism but criticized it.
They ask us to abandon the negative pessimistic fatalism which advocates
that "All events are predetermined by fate and can't be changed
by ourselves", to understand that "My fate is not only decided by
Gods but also by myself", adopt a right attitude to face and understand
the causality of nature, and be the master of the causality of nature
instead of being the slaves of it, and they also point out that
we can reach the realm that "My fate is decided not by Gods but
by myself", and enter into the realm of freedom from the realm of
necessity.
¡¡¡¡ The true practicers must research and understand the holographic
causality, apply the three-cause theory put forward by us to master
the mechanism of the original causes, the internal causes and the
external causes as a whole; go deep into the original causes to
make the exploration, the research and the practice, and understand
that only through changing the "causes" carried and stored in the
original causes can we change the effects of today or of the future,
and only through practicing perfection can we change the evil causes
to transform our fate and master our future ourselves.
¡¡¡¡ The holographic causality is not the mechanical "predestination"
but a kind of law of nature, it's just like what've analyzed at
the above, the cause and effect is a pair of Yin and Yang as well
as a pair of contradictions, and they can be changed into each other.
The change of the quality of the causes and effects is completely
decided by the two factors, namely "the mind and the Shen". The
precursors said: "The fate is decided by yourself", "The fortune
depends on yourself", "When your mind changes, your appearance will
change", "The change is decided by your mind", and "Both the good
and bad fortune is caused by yourself", etc. All persuade us to
adopt a right attitude towards the fate and the holographic causality.
¡¡¡¡ To know the holographic causality and look at the causes and
effects dialectically is the very important task for the practicers
of practicing perfection, and we can say whether you have the courage
to acknowledge and face the causality of nature is one of the key
of the success of practicing perfection. If you want to cultivate
virtues and practice smoothly, be absorbed and desirous to do better,
and seldom encounter or even reduce the barriers set by the devil,
you must research the three causes thoroughly, knowing how to eliminate
the evil causes and do the good deeds widely.
¡¡¡¡ Any practicer must have seeded some good or evil causes in the
past, and the only difference lies in the quantity and degree of
the causes. To increase the good fortunes and eliminate the evil
causes is a basic principle of practicing perfection. Especially
to eliminate the evil causes is the important prerequisite to calming
and quieting the body and mind to cultivate virtues and practice
successfully. Therefore, Science of Xuan Ling Qigong has placed
"Method of repenting of the sins and making a new start" at the
first place. For the beginners, the most important method of eliminating
the evil causes is to repent of the sins and set up the lofty ideas,
especially to ask the masters to help you repent the sins, and to
stress the virtues, to cultivate the virtues and abide by the virtues
strictly. The ones whose natural bodies have been cultivated successfully
should accumulate the mysterious virtues widely, request the masters
and self natural bodies to eliminate the sins completely through
some special ways in the high-dimension space-time, furthermore,
do the good deeds widely, accumulate the secret virtues and merits
more, and cultivate the good fortunes, then, you can be smooth in
practicing perfection and making progress in cultivation and practice,
and march straightly towards the fine realm.
¡¡¡¡ Master Jie Xian, the master that Xuan Zhuang of Tang Dynasty
took refuge in and the abbot of the Lan Tuo Temple of India, was
very strict with himself all the lifelong and with great virtue
and high prestige, but he once suffered from so serious an illness
he couldn't bear that made him decide to go on a hunger strike.
At that critically moment, in his completely quiet innate state,
Avalokitesvara, Manjusri Bodhisattva and Visvabhadra Bodhisattva
enlightened him, and told him that "Because you've been kings for
many times in your past lives and did much harm to the people, you
ought to have fallen into the hell to bear the evil retributions
for a long period of time. However, during this life, you've made
great efforts to carry forward the Buddhism to save the sentiment
beings, so what you suffer now is only the little pain to counteract
the serious bitterness of falling into the hell for a long period
of time. You should endure it, and repent your sins sincerely, and
you will be recovered from illness naturally", Master Jie Xian acted
according to the exhortation, and he soon got well as expected.
¡¡¡¡ From the instance of the retributions of the practicer, we can
see that the sequence arranged to discharge the retributions of
effects in history is very complicated. Because we're cared and
helped by the masters to dissolve the evils causes since we begin
to practice perfection, furthermore, we ourselves also practice
some methods of eliminating the sins, our evil retributions are
often advanced, or changed from the heavy to the light, and they
are often centralized to dissolve and repay. Some students write
to me: "Dear master, My life is very quiet for I pay attention to
cultivating virtues since beginning to practice Qigong many years
ago, would you please very kindly to tell me that why I has been
assailed by the bad breaks since I decided to practice Xuan Ling
Qigong and formally presented the memorial to heaven and vowed before
the great masters?"
¡¡¡¡ This can be said a kind of inevitable phenomenon in the circles
of practicing perfection. The methods of the ordinary Qigong pay
much more attention to practicing than to cultivating virtues because
the purpose of them is to improve the health, to get rid of the
illness and to prolong the life. Thus these methods can't touch
the original causes to have the direct influence but only have the
indirect influence on the law of lysing and discharging of the evil
genes. It's the Yang qi, a kind of substance of matter produced
and gathered in Qigong practice that can dam and close the discharging
of the evil retributions for a period of time that exerts the indirect
influence. When the discharging of the evil genes is delayed, some
of them will be concentrated and heaped up, which makes the energy
grade of them become much higher when the opportunity for being
discharging arises. And this is the internal causes and the mechanism
that some practicers of the ordinary Qigong are taken ill suddenly,
failing to respond to the hard practice or any medical treatment
in spite of practicing for many years. Under this circumstance,
if they can't be helped by the invisible masters in time, or understand
the original causes themselves to cultivate virtues and practice
correspondingly to neutralize and dissolve the original causes;
their future will be very bad. Many students of mine join Xuan Ling
Qigong by coincidence under this awkward and nonplusing time. After
joining, they understand the basic principle of the causality of
nature soon, master and practice the corresponding methods assiduously,
and most of them can eliminate the evil causes and free from the
evil retributions concentrated and heaped up with the aid of the
great masters.
¡¡¡¡ The real practicing perfection can not only improve our health
and prolong our life but also help us free from the reincarnations.
The practicing perfection is different from the ordinary Qigong
practice because it advocates not only practicing but also cultivating
virtues, pays more attention to cultivating virtues, and its methods
ask us to grasp the original causes, the internal causes and the
external causes as a whole. Furthermore, the more important difference
is that the real practicing perfection asks us to research and analyze
all the evil causes in the original causes thoroughly, repent of
the sins sincerely and bitterly under the aid of the masters, cultivate
the five virtues to purify the internal environment, accumulate
the virtues and merits widely in both family and society to eliminate
the evil causes and dissolve the evil retributions, make the original
nature haven't any evil retributions or dirt, thus regain some or
most of substance of matter of the bright light lost in the space-time
for the original nature created the sins continually in the space-time
for thousands of kalpas, perfect our past lives, and make our original
nature to be round and light again.
¡¡¡¡ Why many practicers become out of luck after formally vowing
before the great masters? This phenomenon can be said a kind of
distinguishing reaction of the circles of practicing perfection.
As long as the formal practicers don't practice the heterodoxy,
they must be met, guided and protected by the invisible Buddhist
and Taoist masters; as long as they think highly of keeping the
aspirations for Tao constantly in mind and preserving in cultivating
the Buddha nature, and cultivate virtues and practice diligently,
they must be able to free from the reincarnations within few years,
furthermore, they will be in the perfect realm after succeeding.
As we all know, the one being in the perfect realm is impossible
to be troubled by the evil retributions, so all the retributions
which ought to have been discharged year after year or after several
years or after tens of years will be discharged completely in few
years after the one begins to practice the orthodoxy formally, and
the evil retributions of all the formal practicers will be advanced
and concentrated, the small retributions will disappear, the big
retributions will be changed into the small retributions, the heavy
will be into the light, the complicated into the simple, and the
long into the short, and with the help of the great masters, we
only have a lick on the bad consequence that ought to have been
taken upon by ourselves painfully.
¡¡¡¡ Thus, we ask each student to pay attention to dissolving the
sins and eliminating the causes since the basic class, regard Method
of repenting of the sins and making a new start as the compulsory
and key course before formally crossing the threshold, bring the
subjective initiative into play to acknowledge the causality of
nature, and to dissolve the evil retributions which are relatively
light and small and can be dissolved easily before formally crossing
the threshold in order to decrease the concentration and density
of the evil retributions which may be advanced and concentrated
quickly after formally beginning to cultivate virtues and practice.
However, some of our students who have had the Qigong basis before
decide to formally cultivate virtues and practice once getting the
teaching material, thus they haven't experienced the process of
repenting of the sins again and again and dropping the loads on
the mind at the basic period. Therefore, once they formally vow
to practice perfection before the great masters, their retributions
will be advanced and concentrated and seems more and various, which
make them be in the awkward situation, such as, the family dissensions
rise in swarms, the relationship with the company becomes bad, they
can't act smoothly but suffer the unexpected personal financial
losses, anger, or sorrow, and the bad luck comes in a train, and
all the similar things cause some of them to be at a loss as to
what to do. Of course, the few of them who don't mind repenting
of the sins to make the new start or eliminating the causes or dissolving
the sins but pass the basic period without practicing the course
thoroughly and are greedy for Qigong power and Qigong methods when
formally crossing the threshold of the elementary period will also
have the similar troubles. Furthermore, because only a few of them
don't face up the evil retributions which have been changed by the
masters from the big to the small, and from the serious to the light,
and appeared many times in life but complain about the heaven, the
masters and the Dharma, they will give up their vows and drop behind
the ranks of practicing perfection, and finally leave the orthodoxy
of Xuan Ling Qigong.
¡¡¡¡ Section three¡ªMy Fate Is Not
Decided by Gods but by myself
¡¡¡¡ People are accustomed to summarizing the law of life from the
ordinary to the special, and from the usual Tao to the unusual Tao,
and they often adopt five different kinds of attitudes towards life
according to that whether they know, acknowledge or abide by "the
holographic causality". Because if the attitudes towards life and
The Holographic Causality of the Law of Nature are different, the
results will be different, too, this makes all the people pass their
very rare lives respectively. They often create the new retributions
while experience the old ones, seed the new causes while end the
old ones, and do the deeds for their future reincarnations to be
the high or the low beings. The Bodhisattvas fear the causes while
the ordinary people fear the effects. Because the practicers fear
the causes, they think highly of the producing mechanism of the
causes, grasp the original causes, the internal causes and the external
causes as a whole, concentrate many of their efforts to cultivate
virtues and practice, get into the bottom of and grasp the causality
of nature, eliminate the causes and dissolve the sins, reform the
lives and the Taoist lives of their own, and accumulate the Buddhist
and Taoist deeds to enjoy forever.
¡¡¡¡ The first kind of attitude:
Shift along aimlessly
(Bu xin zi ran wu yi Ming
¡¡¡¡ Zui sheng meng si hun ren sheng
Xiao jin su fu zao xin ye
¡¡¡¡ Bu shi sheng hou duo chen lun)
¡¡¡¡ Day after day, year after year
¡¡¡¡ The one lives as if intoxicated
¡¡¡¡ Or as if dreaming
¡¡¡¡ He creates the new sins
¡¡¡¡ While exhausts the old happiness
¡¡¡¡ But doesn't know the future reincarnations at all
¡¡¡¡ And the only reason is
¡¡¡¡ He doesn't believe in the holographic causality to be clear.
¡¡¡¡ Most of the people in the world today shift along aimlessly because
they can't understand or believe in The Holographic Causality of
the Law of Nature. They excessively indulge in the false bodies
made up of the four elements, idle away almost the whole lifetime,
and accumulate the virtues or create the sins consciously or unconsciously,
which will decide their future. These people accumulate the evil
sins or the virtues and receive the retributions passively in general,
which is decided by the multiple and intensive factors such as the
quantity of the good and the evil genes contained in their original
causes, their self-cultivation level in the internal causes, and
the social influence and the family education, etc. Generally speaking,
the future of the one doesn't abstain from killing will not be good.
¡¡¡¡ A secular famous remark is "All of us are barehanded when we're
born, and we'll be also barehanded when being dead" In the strict
sense, the fact is not like that. I think when we're born we carry
the evil sins in one hand, and the happiness in another. Both the
sins and the happiness are stored and carried in the holographic
system of "the eternal master" or the original nature in a holographic
way, inlaid in the bit of the bright light, and circulated in the
space-time. To value the chance of being reincarnated as a people
to increase the happiness and eliminate the sins or to live as if
intoxicated or dreaming to increase the sins and eliminate the happiness
is decided by you yourself, and a wrong decision made in a moment
of weakness can make us be beyond redemption.
¡¡¡¡ It'll be impossible for you to be clear if you don't believe
The Holographic Causality of the Law of Nature. Most of the ones
who shift along aimlessly don't believe that all the things exist
in both the visible and the invisible ways, or the law of conservation
of matter. They don't believe there is another self who exists objectively
in the state of information besides the physical body, and they
only acknowledge the hardware but deny the software. The basic reason
of the phenomenon that "Most people don't believe in nature" is
that they didn't suffer the untold tribulations to be remembered
constantly and forever under the special environment of the space-time
before this life, or they suffered them, but too much energy of
their original nature has been exhausted or lost during the incarnations
in the space-time, thus cause the internal energy grade of their
bright light is too feeble to imperceptibly influence or direct
the consciousness enough. According to the observations of many
years, another reason of the phenomenon is that the origin of the
original information. Because the ecological balance of nature has
been destroyed seriously and suddenly, many beings whose original
bright light don't belong to the biological chain of people but
belong to the biological chain of animal or plant have crowded in
the biological chain of people (to be reincarnated as people). Their
inherent quality is very different from the quality of people, so
it's harder for them to believe or acknowledge The Holographic Causality
of the Law of Nature. Especially the bright light originated from
or once entered in the biological chain of plant is hoodwinked most
seriously. The next that is hoodwinked seriously is the bright light
that originated from the biological chain of animal or originated
from the biological chain of people but was once reincarnated as
the animal because of doing the evil deeds.
¡¡¡¡ The ones don't believe the visible principles as well as the
invisible principles will not be able to believe the holographic
causality, thus they can't adopt the right attitude towards life
but lives as if intoxicated or dreaming. They will indulge in the
material wealth or the desires all the lifetime. One the one hand,
this kind of people are exhausting the good fortune accumulated
in the past; on the other hand, they create the new sins continuously
because of having the seven emotions and the six sensory pleasures.
Their good fortune will be exhausted completely and the heavy evil
causes will follow them when they're dead. This kind of people often
disregard the consequences, and they don't think they can know the
serious consequences even if they will appear, so they often enjoy
while they can and shift along aimlessly in spite of knowing the
fact that all the sins will follow them or their original nature.
They don't know the law of nature is inexorable, or the causes will
produce the corresponding effects, or their original nature will
degenerate or sink into the sea of bitterness.
¡¡¡¡ Not killing is an important commandment that shows the Buddhist
and the Taoist pay attention to the ecological balance, the masters
told us this method is to help us free from seeding the serious
evil causes since they have observed the holographic causality of
the sentiment beings with the great wisdom. As the saying goes,
"All the beings have the souls", but the question is this soul belong
to whom? If we don't mind the ecological balance but wantonly take
lives, the biological chain will be destroyed, and with the disappearance
of their living environments, the souls lost in the space will crowd
in the biological chain of people because of the causality, which
will result in the degeneration of the quality of people. The future
of the one who creates the killing sins will not be good, and he
will be reincarnated as the beings of one of the three biological
chains in which he is most heavy in debt because of the inexorable
retributions. The holographic causality virtually decides and maintains
the ecological balance.
¡¡¡¡ The second kind of attitude:
Accept the fate
¡¡¡¡( Jing wei zi ran zhi Yin Yang
¡¡¡¡ Xun shou tian dao xi wu ming
¡¡¡¡ Fu yuan bu zu nan jin dao
¡¡¡¡ An fen le ming ji gong xing)
¡¡¡¡ Venerate nature
¡¡¡¡ Know the principle of Yin and Yang
¡¡¡¡ Abide by the law of nature
¡¡¡¡ Love all beings
¡¡¡¡ Accept the fate happily
¡¡¡¡ And accumulate the virtues and merits
¡¡¡¡ Since it's hard for you to practice Tao if you haven't the enough
good fortune
¡¡¡¡ Some people with certain basis of good fortune often accept the
fate. They believe in the law of nature, know and believe in the
principle of Yin and Yang, the visible and the invisible principles,
and the objective reality of the fate, venerate the law of nature,
maintain the ecological balance of nature, abide by the laws and
restrain their bodies and minds consciously.
¡¡¡¡ When analyzing the roots of these people, we can see they are
with some good fortune when being born, but this fortune is not
rich, furthermore, there is not much wisdom in their roots. Much
of their bright light has been exhausted or lost in history. Although
most of the original bright light of them originated from the biological
chain of people, much of matter of their light has been exhausted;
or they were once reincarnated as the animal because of certain
kind of the killing sins, thus makes their bright light contains
the "matter" impurities which become the hindrances to develop their
wisdom. Only few of the bright light of them originated from the
biological chain of animal, but they must have cultivated virtues
and practiced skin-deeply when being the animal in the past. Because
of the various causes of the original causes, the original nature
of these people will not imperceptibly influence their consciousness
clearly on the understanding of the true value of life. Therefore,
they usually believe in nature, venerate nature, accept their fate
happily and don't seek wantonly.
¡¡¡¡ Because they haven't accumulated enough good-fortune causes when
they cultivated virtues and practiced in history, or much of their
bright light has been exhausted, or there are the matter hindrances
in their original causes, etc., this kind of people are very difficult
to understand the principle of the Great Tao, or to seek Tao consciously
to practice Tao heart and soul. Maybe they're lucky to practice
Tao heart and soul, but they can't realize the side effects produced
by the lack of the bright light of the original causes, or they
can't acknowledge the causes of the sins carried in the original
causes, or their consciousness can't be supported by the bright
light or the good energy in their original causes, therefore, they're
very easy to stray away from Tao on the half way because their aspirations
for Tao is not steadfast. This kind of people belong to the original
people, and they ought to have heard Tao, practiced Tao and perfected
Tao, but as we all know, the acquired mind plays the leading role,
and the final result is decided by the determination of their own.
Of course, most of them are with the deep good roots, even if they
can't practice Tao or make a preserving and assiduous practice,
they can also accept their fate calmly and pay attention to accumulating
virtues and merits to try their best to make contributions to the
society and the sentiment beings to hope to acquire the good fortunes
in future.
¡¡¡¡ The third kind of attitude:
Know the Fate
¡¡¡¡ (Cheng ren yin xian gong yi li
¡¡¡¡ Jing wei zi ran bu luan wei
¡¡¡¡ Qin xiu shan de ji fu hui
¡¡¡¡ Feng ji liu shi gai yun cheng)
¡¡¡¡ Admit that the invisible principles and the visible principles
are same in the nature
¡¡¡¡ Venerate nature
¡¡¡¡ Don't act absurdly
¡¡¡¡ Accumulate merits and virtues assiduously
¡¡¡¡ Thus your fate will be changed
¡¡¡¡ Some people with quite many good-fortune causes and certain wisdom
adopt the attitude of knowing the fate. The one knowing the fate
believe in the fate, most of them know the fate indirectly, and
believe it firmly without any doubts after verifying it. Furthermore,
they abide by the causality, pay attention to accumulating merits,
take the initiative in dissolving the evil sins, do the good deeds
for the whole life, change the original unlucky life resulting from
the evil causes, and lay the foundation of good fortune for the
future.
¡¡¡¡ When analyzing the roots of this kind of people, we can find
although they have quite many good-fortune causes, they haven't
enough "wise causes". One of the main reasons that influence their
wise nature is that very much of their bright light has been exhausted.
Maybe their bright light is sufficient at some original time, but
it has been decreased after straying from the orthodoxy for several
times. The bright light of most of the people has been rearranged
and regained again and again while has been exhausted and lost again
and again in history. Therefore, although this kind of people can
adopt a right attitude towards life, and change the fate according
to the common method of accumulating virtues and merits, their wise
nature is not sufficient yet and both their good fortune and wisdom
need increasing urgently if they want to practice the Buddhism and
Taoism heart and soul. At the last stage of Dharma, most of them
can be lucky to practice the orthodox of the Buddhism and Taoism,
if they can make unremitting acquired efforts, strengthen the aspirations
for Tao and cultivate the Buddha nature firmly and steadfastly,
they'll be able to acquire some attainments even succeed in Tao
and perfect Tao because the key of the success of cultivation and
practice is the determination and the efforts. Most of the bright
light of this kind of people originated from the biological chain
of people, and maybe only few of them were once reincarnated as
the animal in history. And the bright light of very few of them
originated from the biological chain of animal but they must have
cultivated virtues and practiced, and the retributions of effects
make them be reincarnated as people, which is a very good chance
and fortune given by nature.
¡¡¡¡ The experience of Yuan Liaofan of Ming Dynasty, the writer of
Family Instruction of Liaofan can be said a very typical instance
of "knowing the fate". At his young age, in Yunnan province, Yuan
Liaofan met Mr Kong who was called as "the iron mouth" for mastering
the principle of fate. He practiced fortune-telling for Yuan Liaofan
according to the year, month, day and hour of his birth, and told
him his fortune of all the lifetime in detail, such as, when he
could pass the imperial exams at the provincial level and which
place he could get, when he could be the senior licentiate, and
when he could take up the post of the county magistrate, etc.
¡¡¡¡ Finally, what Mr Kong said came true in the life of Yuan Liaofan.
Thus he firmly believed that Gods decided all the spells of good
or bad fortune in our lives, and everyone was powerless before the
fate since it couldn't be broken. This is an instance of "knowing
the fate" passively.
¡¡¡¡ However, he venerated the fate because of "knowing the fate",
thus he was upright and honest when being the common people or being
the official, and attended to doing good deeds. Therefore, he had
accumulated some good-fortune causes, and only because of the few
"good-fortune causes", he met the accomplished monk named Yungu
and learned from him the principle of fate. Master Yungu enlightened
him, explained to him that fate is decided by causes and the effects,
and analyzed the law of the circulation of causes and effects. Then,
he suddenly saw the principle of fate in a clear light, knowing
that the fate is not only decided by Gods but also by our efforts.
From that time on, he began to accumulate the secret virtues widely,
wrote down "the merit and demerit records" every day, examined his
conducts very strictly, and readily accepted good advices, and recited
sutras and incantations to expect to move heaven and earth. Then,
all the "bad luck" he should have prophesied by "the iron mouth"
failed to appearing, being "inaccurate". At first, Mr. Kong revealed
that he wouldn't have any child and he would die at the age of fifty-three,
but finally, he produced a son, furthermore, his son was very talented,
and he lived over seventy years old. At the old age, he wrote the
book named Family Instruction of Liaofan, expounded his process
and experience from "knowing the fate" to "changing the fate" all
the lifetime to educate his offspring and the later generations.
¡¡¡¡ The fourth kind of attitude:
Reform the fate
¡¡¡¡ (She sheng wang si fu da dao
¡¡¡¡ Xing ming shuang xiu wu xuan miao
¡¡¡¡ Zheng de san sheng shi sheng si
¡¡¡¡ Jie jian xiu zhen ming zai zao)
¡¡¡¡ Be ready to risk your own life to prove Tao
¡¡¡¡ Cultivate Xing and practice Ming to comprehend the mysterious
¡¡¡¡ Once the past, present and future lives have been proved
¡¡¡¡ The birth and death will be really understood
¡¡¡¡ In the process of trying to attain the perfection by this false
body
¡¡¡¡ The fate will be reformed
¡¡¡¡ To reform the fate means to change the fate and reform the fate,
and it mainly means to reform the fate. To reform the fate includes
to reform this life, proving "the Taoist life", and to reform the
future, and it's changed from the level that "My fate is decided
by both Gods and myself" to the level that "My fate is not decided
by Gods but by myself".
¡¡¡¡ When analyzing the roots of these people who can reform their
fate, we can see that most of them have very solid and rich fortune
and wisdom. They have accumulated very rich good causes when they
cultivated virtues and practiced in history, and most of them probably
have practiced Buddhism or Taoism several times or many times, thus
their wisdom is very sufficient. Few of them even came down from
the heaven directly, their intelligence and wisdom are more sufficient,
so it's hard for them to lose their way. Some of them also carry
the evil causes, but when all or most of the evil causes are repaid,
they'll be easy to understand the law of nature, reach the realm
of reforming the fate consciously or by chance, study and master
the Buddhist and Taoist theories and methods of practicing perfection
to prove sincerely. However, each of us should know that the influence
of the root on a person is only a kind of latent energy, the key
of the success of practicing perfection is to change our minds,
if our minds are fogged by the desires, or infatuated with the human
society but don't know to return to practice perfection, it'll be
hard for us to achieve the high level or even sink to the heresy
or stray away from Tao on the half way although our intelligence
and wisdom are sufficient.
¡¡¡¡ Only the one whose innate fortune and wisdom have been accumulated
to certain level can reform their fate. Most of this kind of people
have been directed by the roots silently to gradually understand
the profound theory that "My fate is not only decided by Gods but
also by myself" in the process of studying the acquired knowledge,
to believe that there are causes and effects in life and the evil
causes can be eliminated and dissolved by stressing the virtues,
cultivating the virtues, abiding by the virtues, accumulating the
merits and virtues, cultivating the visible virtues, the secret
virtues and the mysterious virtues continuously. Thus reform the
fate, achieve the high level of cultivation and practice to cultivate
Xing and practice Ming, reform the fate again and decide the future
through perfecting the Taoist life.
¡¡¡¡ Most of the bright light of this kind of people originated from
the biological chain of people, and maybe few of them were reincarnated
as the animals in history, but they still cultivated virtues and
practiced even when being the animal, thus their wisdom has not
been obscured and they can have the chance of being a person. Very
few of them originated from the biological chain of animal, however,
they've achieved very high level of cultivating virtues and practicing
in the past or they have followed the master for many years and
done many good deeds and merits, needing to depend on the human
body to reach the spiritual state of the immoral by practicing the
Buddhism and the Taoism to remove the nature of the animal to return
to the right path, so they are reincarnated as a people. This is
a kind of very good chance and fortune given by nature, and some
well-known personages of the Qigong circle belong to this case.
¡¡¡¡ During the period of returning to the true nature, nature bestows
us many opportunities to return to practice perfection, and the
restrictions are relaxed greatly. Because the cultivation and practice
are very urgent now, it can be said once you're awake to cultivating
virtues and practicing, all the masters will be willing to meet
and guide you. The requirements for the former roots, the good fortune
and the retributions of effects have been relaxed greatly, and only
the aspirations for Tao and the Buddha nature are required necessarily.
If you can keep the aspirations for Tao in mind constantly and preserve
in cultivating the Buddha nature, and have a vow that conform to
the will of the masters, all the masters will meet and guide you
to attain the levels of reforming the fate and perfecting the fate
to be much-steeled, to dissolve the sins and eliminate the causes,
and train you to be useful for Tao.
¡¡¡¡ The fifth kind of attitude:
Perfect the fate
¡¡¡¡ De xing qi bei fan xian tian
¡¡¡¡ Xing ming zai zao huan xin yan
¡¡¡¡ Xiao yao wu wai wu ji ban
¡¡¡¡ Wo ming you wo bu you tian
¡¡¡¡ You'll return to the real innate state
¡¡¡¡ Being leisure and carefree
¡¡¡¡ Since you have enough virtues and merits
¡¡¡¡ And your fate will have been reformed completely
¡¡¡¡ Thus we can see the fate is not decided by Gods but by ourselves
¡¡¡¡ To perfect the fate is the realm achieved by the one who not
only are with the virtues, aspirations, good behavior and faith
but also attain the level of that "My fate is not decided by Gods
but by myself" by cultivating virtues and practicing firmly and
indomitably. At the same time, perfecting the fate is the inevitable
outcome of keeping the aspirations for Tao constantly in mind and
preserving in cultivating the Buddha nature over a long period of
time. The Taoist masters hope us have the pure Buddha nature, and
the Buddhist masters hope us have the unshakable aspirations for
Tao. Each practicer must be able to perfect Tao and enter into the
saint realm if he can break through the barriers set by the devil
by depending on the aspirations for Tao and the Buddha nature.
¡¡¡¡ Perfecting Xing is different from perfecting Ming as that having
Tao is different from attaining Tao, attaining Tao different from
succeeding in Tao, and succeeding in Tao different from perfecting
Tao. They are different in the quality and levels, and they should
be differentiated by the corresponding concepts. To perfect Xing
only means to free the natural body, but to perfect Ming means to
make both the body and the Shen fine and become a unity to free
both Xing and Ming completely. The cultivation and practice of the
level of perfecting Ming is much harder than the cultivation and
practice of other levels, furthermore, it's a long-term process,
requires the practicers to have the unshakable aspirations for Tao
and the pure Buddha nature, and to have three hundred of mercies
and three thousand of merits and virtues.
